SUMMARY:WORKSHOP 10: Introduction to Dynamic Causal Modelling (DCM) for functional imaging data
DESCRIPTION:Workshop by Dr. Thilo Kellermann \nThis workshop aims at understanding the basic principles of dynamic causal modelling (DCM) as a measure of effective connectivity in the brain. To this end\, complementary concepts in neuroscience (segregation vs. integration) and statistics (classical vs. Bayesian statistics) are outlined in order to show where DCM fits relative to standard analysis techniques like the general linear model. The first session gives a short overview of the basic concepts\, whereas practical aspects of performing a DCM analysis will be put into focus in the second session.
